Children & Babies We have decided that Our Wedding Ceremony and Reception will be for Adult Guests only

Dress Code
Gents

 
The Wedding Dress Code for Gentlemen is Classic Morning Suits with Aylesbury Dove Waistcoats (please see enclosed information from Moss Bros Hire)  Gents are kindly asked to Wear their own formal white shirt (normal collar not winged) and their own choice of tie

 Ladies The ceremony will take place in a Cathedral and it is customary for ladies to wear some form of headwear – hats or fascinators (Please note that the front of The Cathedral is, no matter What the season, notoriously windy so please make sure your hat is held firmly)

Lichfield Cathedral

 Please find enclosed directions to help you with your journey to Lichfield Cathedral. If you are travelling by car the nearest place to part is at The Woolworths Car Park in Bird St. There is no parking in The Close – This is a strictly residential parking area – any vehicles Parking illegally will be clamped  It is a short and easy walk up from Woolworths Car Park to The Cathedral.  You will need .80p per hour for the parking fee, we suggest two hours parking time.  If it is by chance raining then you can drive into The Close and drop off guests at the front

Time of Arrival Due to the number of guests we suggest an arrival time of approximately 30 minutes prior to the time of the wedding

Wedding Officials Upon arrival at The Cathedral you may be asked for your name by a wedding official Our Wedding Ushers will be inside The Cathedral and they will direct you to your seat

Mobile Phones
 Please make absolutely certain that your mobile phone is switched off!

Cameras Cameras with flash are not allowed in The Cathedral during the ceremony

Official Photographs
 After the ceremony, we have arranged for a photographer to take a group photograph of all Our guests.  This will be taken from the Minstrels Gallery above the main door of The Cathedral.  To enable this to be taken you will be asked to assemble behind the Bride & Bridegroom before you leave The Cathedral After this photograph has been taken, all guests will be directed to make their way out of the right hand side door and assemble on the steps for another group style photo. The second Photographer will then be able to take a photo of The Bride & Bridegroom at the West Door Of The Cathedral

Confetti Unfortunately confetti cannot be thrown at The Cathedral. There will be bio-degradable confetti provided for the guests at Nailcote Hall when the photographer is ready for a special photograph

After the Cathedral

 Please make your way to Nailcote Hall Hotel for the reception and Wedding Breakfast (directions enclosed) Those guests who arrived by Mini Bus wil be able to board the buses/s Which will be now available at the pick up point in The Close.  N.B.  If it is raining there will be no photographs taken outside The Cathedral and all guests will leave directly
If you are taking The M6 Toll Road to Nailcote Hall Hotel, which is a little quicker then you Will need change of £4.00 for the Toll Fee

 There will be a welcome drink and canapés for our guests, but there will be additional photographs required with The Bride & Bridegroom. I do hope you will appreciate we are running a very tight schedule on the day and the photographs will be taken as soon as possible. If you are staying at Nailcote Hall Hotel please do not check in at this point or go to your room    As this will be difficult for us to locate guests (for photos and start of the reception) There will be an opportunity for checking in at a later time

A wedding Gift Voucher List has been set up with John Lewis please see enclosed information
